The creative process is intention + action.
Whether we are aware of it and do it purposefully, or it seems as if we do the things that we do as part of a natural, subconscious process, intentions are part of our everyday life. Never was this more clear to entrepreneur, writer, and mindfulness coach, Paige Davis, then on the day she got her cancer diagnosis. She credits her daily meditation practice, a way of checking in with and being present with herself, as an essential factor in her being cancer-free today. When we set intentions for how to approach a challenge, a creative problem, or an overwhelming process, those intentions enable us to act versus react.
