Mike Goldenberg talks about how to shock yourself out of distraction and get empowered to follow your passions.

Happiness and inspiration come from many places, but often the distractions in our lives prove to hinder and dampen our motivation to reach our potential and embrace our true passions.

In his talk, Mikey will spin a familiar tale involving his dog ‘Monty’, a shock collar, birds, cookies, and doing your homework, into an introspective story of empowerment that we can all connect with on a personal level and relate to in our professional lives.

About the speaker

At the heart of it, Mikey Goldenberg identifies as a ‘Producer’, and with a 16 year career in commercial and non-commercial radio; co-ownership of 4D projection mapping company Ghost Pixel Visuals; instructor of audio production/editing at CU Boulder’s College of Media, Communication & Information; and yoga teacher…he’s produced many, many things. For better or worse, these productions created a personal foundation of understanding, clarity and humble humor about where we as professionals stand today, and he’s thrilled to bring his ideas to Creative Mornings.

Personally, Mikey has been known to enjoy a good day on the slopes, a cheap drink, sleeping on the ground in the mountains, owning too many backpacks, inspiring adventurous spirit, far-away travel and pizza. Always pizza.
