As an experienced and award-winning architectural, interior, and graphic designer in St. Louis, Kelsey Jordan’s visions for the future of architecture strongly involve embedded ideologies on designing for equity in education and diversity in the built environment. Through research and practice, she has been able to understand how health and wellness can be implemented to effect positive change within communities that face multifaceted issues like obesity, food deserts, poverty, educational attainment, and systemic racism in educational environments.

A message from all of us at Creative Mornings:

It has been a remarkably transformative 12 months for us, and we’re so grateful to have you along for the ride. Here are a few highlights we’re proud of

⭐ When in-person events came to a halt in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our CreativeMornings chapters pivoted all of our face-to-face events to go virtually — our local creative leaders and organizers met this challenge with courage, diving in head-first.

⭐ To date, our global community has hosted over 1,000 virtual events. We are more globally connected than ever since CreativeMornings was born. We had 280,000+ registrants at our virtual events in 2020. We’ve even had attendees from cities that don’t even officially have CreativeMornings chapters!

⭐ On top of this experimentation, we have grown by twelve chapters since the pandemic first hit. We are proud of our volunteers and this resilient community. It’s thanks to their commitment and strength that we are still here. Our chapters held this community together.

As 2020 is closed and we forge ahead, we hope you find time to relax, unwind, and find the nourishment you need. Thank you for showing up last year in whatever way you did.âŁïž

You won’t want to miss this discussion!

Great Rivers Greenway is a public agency that was formed by a vote of the people in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County in 2000 to connect the region together with greenways. With your help and with many partners, we’re bringing the community’s vision to life – there are 128 miles of greenways and counting for you to enjoy, making this an even more vibrant place to be. Every five years, with your guidance, we update our strategic plan.

So, what’s next? You tell us.

Thanks in advance for your collaboration as we envision the next 20 years together. Everyone who takes this survey (open through January 15, 2021) will be entered in a drawing to receive a $300 gift card to the grocery store of their choice.

Get in touch with the natural world with this month’s biophilia-themed playlist.  (Our next event is Dec 18th!!)

Dr. Octagon has a harsh diagnosis for our trees, Arrested Development encourages us to unplug and dig into the dirt, and Gum County communes with the garden. From Led Zeppelin to Lupe Fiasco, these songs of nature will feed your roots and stretch your branches. The perfect soundtrack for a walk in the park.

But, maybe bring a jacket?

A Walking Xmas Carol!

Inspired by the tradition of taking in the grand holiday windows at Stix and Famous-Barr – “A Walking Xmas Carol” is a 21-stop, musical and window-display reimagining of the classic tale by Charles Dickens. Local artists from PaintedBlack STL (“Stroll”) created large-scale window installations interpreting Scrooge’s journey from a never before seen perspective while the musical adaptation Q Brothers Christmas Carol from the Q Brothers (Dress the Part) will guide guests throughout the walk along Euclid Ave. and Maryland Plz.
