“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you.” - Frida Kahlo

One year ago today, HR Giger passed away. Let’s remember him for who he really was, a brilliant and revolutionary, but misunderstood artist. We can’t allow ourselves to forget him, his work and the way Hollywood treated them. I’ll mourn him forever. In other news, Alien Isolation has sold 2.1 million copies! Hard not to expect a sequel after such a success. Fingers crossed. And finally, I’d like to remind you all not to believe the Prometheus 2 rumors going around online. No, the movie will not take place on Earth and Shaw will not be replaced. Do not expect to hear anything legitimate before the end of the summer.

“First you must know that the whole of the physical world floats in each of the senses at the same time. Each of them reveals to us a different aspect of the kingdom of change. But none of them reveals the unnameable stillness that unites them. At the heart of change it lies unseeing, unhearing, unfeeling, unchanging, holding within itself the beginning and the end. It is ours. It is our only possession.” - W.S. Merwin
