Come tune into the rhythm of time, exploring its elasticity and subjectivity.

Our speaker Sonya L. Merritt (she/her) says, “Time is like your favorite tune – it’s slow and steady when you’re a kid, like a mellow heartbeat. But as you grow up, it’s like that favorite old song that’s been remixed as a dance tune, fast and a little difficult to follow.” This talk explores the reasons behind this shift. Can we embrace the elasticity of time? Can we find a balance between slowing down and being productive? How do we savor the moments when it all seems to be going so fast? Sonya gets us thinking about our relationship with time and most importantly, no matter the beat, how we can keep groovin.
