Sofia Svensson-Huang

Sofia Svensson-Huang is a graphic designer, art director, and illustrator. Raised in a small town in the south of Sweden, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for graphic design at Otis College of Art and Design. After graduating, Sofia worked for several small design firms and illustrated for the Los Angeles Times. Always seeking new experiences, Sofia lived in Stockholm, Paris, and Minneapolis and worked as an art director for Mattel and Target. Today, she calls Grand Rapids home and is a Senior Manager of Art Direction at Herman Miller.

Curiosity and a love for exploring the unknown have led Sofia down many avenues for expressing her creativity, including print design, outdoor advertising, events, exhibitions, and product design. Her cross-cultural life and design experience are often an inspiration for her work, which has been recognized by Print magazine, HOW Design, AIGA, and Communication Arts.
