June 30, 7:40am - 8:45am AWST. Hosted at Bankwest Place
part of a series on Survival
About the speaker
We’re excited to host this month’s speaker, Sisonke Msimang, a storyteller for all mediums. She shares her stories from The Guardian to the New York Times, to the stages of The Moth and TEDTalks.
Sisonke is the head of programs at the Centre for Stories, a initiative that collects, preserves and shares stories about migrants, refugees and diverse people and places. Presenting on June’s global theme, Survival, we ask Sisonke: What place does survival have in a creative life?
Perth’s creative community (and their babies) welcome. Sisonke will begin presenting at 8.00 am with a break at 8:30 before Q&A. Breakfast is served on arrival.
