About the speaker
Simran Savlani is a Restaurant management graduate from Le Cordon Bleu, Paris and is adept at
melding cuisines, flavors, and ingredients. She has launched restaurants across Asia and even Africa.
Recently she authored an Asian Vegetarian cookbook called A Spark of Madness – which consists of 116 recipes ranging from
Seoul to Singapore, Taiwan to Thailand, Indonesia to India and beyond.
Alongside as an extension of the cookbook, she has also batched three Asian-inspired vegan sauces called Spark. The flavours are
Crispy Chili Oil, Caramelized Spring Onion and Crack Sauce. All three sauces are handmade in Hong Kong and can be enjoyed as a
condiment, for cooking or even on their own. They are great for gifting or enjoy them yourself!
