Ash Phillips
Ash Phillips is the co-founder and CEO of Six Cinquième; an award winning creative agency helping innovative businesses define their brands and express their unique value. In the last 6 years, Ash has established herself as a powerful business owner and inspiration for WOC. She is a creative director, brand strategist and entrepreneur working in the creative industry since 2015. Her goal is to foster an environment that is welcoming for young creatives that look like her, while pushing the bar and executing high quality visuals backed by strategy and design thinking. Leading by example, she strives to shape a more diverse and inclusive future for the creative industry in her native city of Montreal.
Miro LaFlaga
When it comes to pushing the boundaries of aesthetic conventions and design thinking, Miro LaFlaga is steadily charting new territory. The energetic brand strategist based out of Montreal doesn't only have an acute awareness of current trends; he engenders a refreshingly unique perspective on the ever-evolving relationships between aesthetics, communication and how brands interact with them. Launching his own design firm, Six Cinquieme, in 2018, Miro is on a mission to help startups and emerging artists find their own voice in the digital space. Constantly fusing elements of different worlds, LaFlaga strives to integrate his distinctive outlook into the creative works of the diverse entities he collaborates with on a custom-tailored, case-by-case basis.
Ash+Miro
With a background in graphic design and business management respectively, creatives Ash and Miro’s journey’s started in 2015 as freelance creative directors producing visuals for local artists in the city. Driven by their shared passions for diversity and innovation in Montreal’s creative industry, they began a partnership, collaborating on several projects for 3 years until deciding to carve their own path. They launched their first agency Divvi productions in late 2018, which they then rebranded to Six Cinquième in late 2020.
Today, the agency is committed to working with like minded, creative individuals who aspire to have a positive impact in their communities and the world.
