Matt Sesow explains the unending value in picking the choices in life that gives us goosebumps
About the speaker

Matt Sesow began painting as a hobby when he was 28. Living and working in Washington, DC as software engineer, Sesow painted at night and on weekends for seven years while establishing himself within the genre of “Outsider Artists”. He left his day job and became a professional full-time artist in 2001. Now living off the sale of his art, Matt’s exhibition portfolio includes galleries and museums from around the world; however, he is most proud of his success at selling the art himself at an affordable price to collectors directly.
Sesow’s inspiration stems from a childhood accident that involved a small plane hitting him on a grassy runway. The incident resulted in the amputation of his dominant hand.
Matt’s artwork is drenched in bright colors and aggressive lines that can oftentimes tell an unusual story, document a current event, or present an iconic image from popular culture in a new way.
