Lindsey green

Lindsey Green has been working within arts, digital and learning since 1998. Lindsey co-founded Frankly, Green + Webb link, a digital agency working with cultural organisations all over the world to design products, experiences and services that integrate digital and physical elements. Part tech sceptic and user advocate, Lindsey’s focus is on creative but practical experiences that delight visitors and deliver measurable impact.

'Frankly, Green + Webb projects often begin with questions about how cultural organisations - such as museums, galleries and performing arts companies - can be more effective at helping people make sense of the world around them.

These places, like many sectors, are feeling the impact of digital technologies, changes in audience attitudes and behaviours and reduced budgets. Our role is to help these unique institutions understand what's at the core of the challenges they face and design different ways to make the experiences that help their audiences to learn, be inspired and be curious.

We have offices in the UK and USA and work across we have worked with a wide range of great organisations from the Science Museum to Tate, the Van Gogh Museum to the V&A, Scottish Ballet to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and many more.

We’ve helped clients such as these think about the ways in which visitors encounter their organisations and collections and how content and services can be choreographed on to that experience to enhance their understanding and enjoyment. Our user-centred, service design-led approach has enabled us to deliver outstanding results to help make them more sustainable and relevant.'

Lindsey will be talking #CMcurious. ‘It’s human nature to be curious. Yet, it’s also something we need to exercise and cultivate in order to stay actively interested in and open to new experiences. In the talk, I’ll be exploring how to stay curious during our daily work and lives. I’ll be using my own experience, as a researcher and business owner, of the challenge of trying to stay curious about my work and discussing what I’ve learnt about the topic from research with hundreds of visitors trying to navigate museums and cultural organisations, whose entire purpose is to encourage curiosity’
