We really can help out our corner every day
Artist, writer, journalist and curator Leila Johnston talks about doing what you instinctively want to do, share it and why it’s important. ‘One of the first things I learned growing up is that life isn’t fair. I learnt this both through experiencing things that happened to me as a child and I also learned it literally through my Dad saying it all the time, to us. I have grown to realise that 'life isn’t fair’ can actually be a bit of an excuse to give up and not try. (We can) energise ourselves to already do the things that we instinctively want to do.‘ Encouraging others who are doing the same. 'Every time we talk…even think about someone positively we are helping to lift them up into the world’. We have great pleasure in sharing this positive talk based on all of the above, and other great insights too.
