Key Portilla-Kawamura and Ali Ganjavian of kawamura-ganjavian take us from S to xm.
Our gig would be a trip through the multiple scales at which a creative idea may be materialized, starting from the S (for small) down to the xm (for extra-micro).
About the speaker
Key Portilla-Kawamura and Ali Ganjavian are architects, designers and creative entrepreneurs. They are the creative minds behind ingenious products like the Ostrich Pillow or sensuous projects like the bookstore at the Rolex Learning Center in Lausanne. They run their architecture+design practice kawamura-ganjavian (www.studiokg.com) from Lausanne, Madrid and London; and they are the founders of the multidisciplinary creative platform Studio Banana. They are co-leading the elop transdisciplinary graduate program at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, coaching at the ALICE laboratory of architecture at the EPFL in Lausanne and regularly run design-thinking workshops at various institutions.
Enjoy failure! This is fundamental because, as a creative, if you don't enjoy those trashy moments when things just don't work... it's better to change profession. Become a lawyer.
