About the speaker
Austin native Kelly Chappell is the co-owner and operator of Intergalactic Productions, home to Galaxy Cafe and Top Notch. Though Kelly moved away briefly a couple of times, he settled back in Austin at age 26 to begin his career. With 38 years in the restaurant industry (23 as an owner), he has built a lasting presence in the Austin restaurant scene.
An avid traveler and father of two girls, he has spent nearly 36 months living abroad, exploring the world beyond his hometown. He plans to retire splitting time between Austin and Mexico.
