About the speaker

Howard’s extensive career has spanned nearly 28 years – touching on everything from design to marketing and brand management. As a visual communications design grad from MacEwan, Howard kick-started his career with his own graphic design company. In 1995, he joined DDB as an art director, and soon rose to Associate Creative Director, crafting many award-winning campaigns for a variety of clients. In 2000, Howard left the agency to lead the creative team for Intuit Canada/UK and eventually shifted career paths to become a brand manager for Intuit’s consumer products. In his role as Senior Marketing Manager, he has worked with all channels of distribution: retail, online and direct response. Howard rejoined DDB in 2007. As Design Director, Howard oversees all print and online communications produced by the agency.
