About the speaker

Francesca Comisso is an art historian, curator and founder, in 1997, of a.titolo, the first curatorial collective in Italy and one of the first to be active in public space with projects of a participatory and transdisciplinary nature.

She is the contact person for 'Nuovi committenti' programme within the international namesake association. She is the author of articles, essays and has edited volumes including, the most recent published by NERO: ‘Comphost. Immaginari interspecie’.

She is professor at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, after having taught at the Polytechnic and University of Turin, the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, NABA and IED.
