About the speaker

Erin Luong opened Pulp in May of 2015. Prior to starting Pulp, Luong was a relative free spirit, freelance graphic designer and marketing specialist in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Erin has bachelor’s degrees in both Journalism and
Communications. She was the recipient of the 2015 Emerging Entrepreneur grant from the
Metro Omaha Women’s Business Center, and 40 Under 40 in 2016. Pulp was awarded Small
Business of the Month for February 2017 from the Greater Omaha Chamber. She is currently Vice President of the Blackstone Business Association.
