Erin’s parents taught her to love fantastical worlds. Her inner-child is still alive and well. She shows her imaginative illustrations during the presentation while describing ways that she keeps a strong sense of wonder.
About the speaker
Erin Barker is a freelance illustrator and designer currently living and working in Cincinnati, OH. With a bachelor of Arts Degree in Painting, she specializes in illustration for kids and additionally has a passion for hand lettering and calligraphy. From time to time, she teaches calligraphy workshops, which she enjoys immensely. She loves Swedish Fish, bad sci-fi movies, and a good home-cooked meal. As a kid, Erin was a voracious reader who wanted to be a Writer/Journalist/Pop Star - not because she had any talents in those areas, but because it just sounded so desperately romantic.
