About the speaker
Chris Bishop is the Creative Director of PBS KIDS Digital, where he has designed websites, apps & games for kids since 2000. Most recently, Chris created the concept for the new PBS KIDS brand which launched online & on-air in 2013.
Chris also explores themes of beauty, violence, strength & vulnerability in his Pretty Girls & Robots series of paintings. He uses bold outlines, cartoon simplicity and bright colors to bring to life the empty, cold-hearted death machines... and those are just the girls!
He is from Syracuse, NY and an Eagle Scout.

We went in with parents and asked them about sharing videos and the best answer was one dad: "Who would I send this to?" he was right, it's penguins skiing. Who WOULD he send this to?
When you're designing for kids, being illustrator is a huge asset. The lines are blurred between illustration and design.
