Beth Kaminsky on the importance of staying small

Beth Kaminsky is the lead exhibitions project manager at the History Center Colorado, one of Colorado’s most innovative and modern museums. In this video she discusses the ways that a “minimal” approach to life have driven creative invention in the museum and in her own life.

About the speaker

Beth Kaminsky is a museum exhibit-developer-turned-project-manager. Before getting hired to help plan exhibits for the new History Colorado Center, Beth fed her passion for creating engaging exhibits as a consultant for museums of many types. She also spent a couple years working retail and fabricating fabric accessories for sale. Before that, she worked for a museum planning and design firm in Ohio. And, before that, she started her career at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

These days, Beth spends most of her time away from work wrangling her two eight year olds, and last year completed a little hair/blog project. A product of Denver Public Schools, Beth has a couple degrees from the University of Denver (cultural anthropology and museum studies). She looks forward to sharing with Denver’s creative community her musings on the theme “Minimal” and how it relates to her life and work.
