About the speaker
Born in Puerto Rico and based in Miami, Florida, Angel Acevedo has been working in the graphic design industry since 2001. Specializing in Creative Direction, particularly in brand identity and print design, Angel operates his own design studio, ACVDO Co., alongside his wife and partner, Karielys Acevedo.
Angel is actively involved in serving the Miami community as a board member of the WOW Center and design support at VOUS Church. His most notable recent project includes the redesign of the City of Miami seal in 2023.
Describing himself as a "design detective," Angel enjoys diving into projects and spaces to uncover potential creative challenges and develop innovative solutions. Angel has also lent his talents to companies like Spotify, Royal Caribbean, and Vossen Wheels. With projects like God is a designer®, Filme™App and the Made in House Podcast in his portfolio, Angel remains committed to pursuing innovation and excellence in his creative works.
