Andrew Novick is a Denver-born creative powerhouse—an artist, collector, curator, and musician who’s been a fixture in Denver’s punk and creative scene for decades. By day, he’s an electrical engineer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, comparing atomic clocks down to the nanosecond. By night, Andrew is a self-proclaimed “recreational photographer” and pop culture enthusiast, known for his wild art shows, themed events, and musical projects (Warlock Pinchers, Scramblehead).
From hosting quirky public events like PeepsBQ and the X-Treme Pancake Breakfast, to creating installations at Meow Wolf and the Denver Art Museum, Andrew’s work explores the strange, the nostalgic, and the unexpected. His documentary JonBenet’s Tricycle dives into the cultural significance of collecting, loss, and pop culture obsession.
