When we’re meditating, we’re entering that state of relaxed awareness where we’re accessing deeper states of consciousness, and this is where healing and recovering from our lifetime of stress really does happen.

When we approach intentionality with this depth, it has the opportunity to be a fierce practice of awareness, alignment and accountability that can create meaningful transformation in our lives.

It’s not just about external validation but internal alignment.

Bravery is not a lack of fear. Bravery is doing something in spite of the fear. You get up there, you push through that barrier, and then you know you can do it.

If you can see it as a teacher, chaos will actually lead you to clarity and to question things.

What is chaos? To me, it’s where life is disconnected. It’s where there is a gap between what we think we should be doing or how we internally feel and the kind of external self that we portray.

What we really need to do is share our traditions, because by sharing our traditions we could prevent these unshakeable extreme views of people, because we get to know each other. We all get a greater sense of understanding of who we are and who our neighbours are and instead of living in fear we're able to accept them and even adopt some of their traditions as our own.

When somebody learns their community's traditions they are given that sense of belonging.

Traditions give us a sense of identity and identity is what helps us define our community. That's what makes us feel good and gives us the strength to survive.

Start being more honest with yourself.

If we're talking about community, more than anthing with anything, I think that by being genuinely interested it helps to build that. By following your 'ooohs' is the best way to keep having more 'ooohs'.

Whoever you're working with, no matter what they do, or who they are, it's wonderful to be able to work out what they're about and from there you can play, problem solve, explore, and take risks.

I knew from art school that to keep these 'ooohs' coming, you need to learn more about everything.
