Embrace the crappy work.

I think we all have this unrealistic expectation that everything we make should be good and perfect even when we're learning something new.

The more different types of hands-on learning that we do, the more we are capable of learning and doing because all of our skills are interconnected.

Anything you do that is worthwhile takes time. We're living in a 140 character culture. Things take a much longer time than that, anything meaningful. Try to consider the long term possibilities to the short term fix.
