There's a tendency as a creative to try and be perfect. But if you do that, you only ever achieve when you can envision.

It adds style to your work when you take risks.

Doing something that's uncomfortable, or that can fail, and taking risks - it makes your work and your life more exciting.

You can be a loner and still be successful.

When I create from a place of empathy that is my way of trying to create work that matters.

It's a process to go from 'I'm doing this' to 'I'm doing that' and we need to be compassionate, empathetic, to ourselves that are on this journey of getting better.

Empathy asks the question. Ego screams for an answer.

There are people younger, smarter, better, faster than you are. Unless you are open to listening to them and seeing them and understanding them, you'll never keep up.

Magic is those perfect moments of coincidence that allow something really special to happen or start

'If you don't want to do it, that's fine it's your business, do what you want.' The minute you switch the accountability and put it all on them, amazingly their much more open to your opinion, because now they're responsible.

Say yes to things that are challenging and frightening because that's what you'll grow from.

We need politicians to be activists.

We need new memes, new visual and written critique, we need to excite with possibilities, and maybe we need to scare people a little as well.

We have to believe that another world is possible, other than the one we’re born into.
