Meet Our Divergent Illustrator: Núria Tamarit! (@nuriatamarit on instagram)

Núria Tamarit is an illustrator and comic artist based in Valencia, Spain. Some of her latest books are Dos Monedas (La Cúpula Ediciones), Géante (Delcourt), Le conte du Genévrier (Les Aventuriers de L’Étrange) and Season of the Witch (Nobrow).

Her work has been featured in international magazines such as Planadviser, Voltio, Fierro, Save our Souls or Nobrow 10. Some of her clients have been Usborne Publishing, El Mundo, Santillana, GVA or Google. She teaches in the Illustration school and self-publish zines in her spare time.

Sarah is the CEO of Mighty Cricket (https://www.facebook.com/MightyCricketCo/),
a next-generation protein company with a mission to build a clean protein supply to sustain the world.

After receiving an accounting degree from Truman State University, Sarah made a career in food. She built a nutrition and cooking school in North Carolina where she worked with both Fortune 100 companies and families at the poverty line. In 2014, Sarah was awarded Inc. Magazine’s Military Entrepreneur.

Upon entering the corporate world, Sarah was the digital marketing manager for a national food brand. She now runs Mighty Cricket full-time and travels internationally to share her passion for more sustainable food systems.

The AIGA St.Louis Annual Student Conference is going virtual!
As always, the conference is a great opportunity for students to explore their creativity with design professionals from the local and national community. This year we will be hosting a series of workshops for upperclassmen, keynote speakers and roundtable discussions for everyone, and hand paired portfolio reviews for seniors. Join us on February 27th and February 28th from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Tickets are currently on sale at www.aigastlouisstudentconference.com for $15 for the full experience (Juniors and Seniors).

Keynote and Roundtable access only tickets are $5 for everyone, always.
