About the speaker
Von Robinson, Principal Designer at Steelcase, is focused on creating experiences that better healthcare. His expertise revolves around integrating digital and physical realms into a unified, humanizing experience. At Steelcase Health, Von is lead on sensing technologies (biometric and social) and human/object interactions.
Von has 16 years of experience in design and development, including 10 years as director of VRiD (his New York based design consultancy), 4 years teaching at Parsons School of Design, and 2 years working with Eva Zeisel earlier in his career.
Fun fact: Von writes, plays and records music in the enormously ego-driven project known world-wide as Von Robinson & His Own Universe.
