About the speaker
Ti Chang is an industrial designer passionate about designing for women. She is the co-founder of design-centric luxury vibrator company Crave (lovecrave.com) the leading brand for women’s pleasure found in mainstream retail stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, the Standard hotel, and Goop. Ti leads the concept and design for the company’s full line of products which has won numerous awards including Red Dot, IDEA, and Good Design. She has been featured in Playboy, Fortune, Huffington Post, Forbes, Cosmopolitan and many more.
Ti understands how products can deeply influence the user experience. And in the area of pleasure that is already burdened with cultural stigma, products should not be a source of embarrassment. Crave’s blend of heightened aesthetic, technology and manufacturing savvy is helping to bring pleasure products out of the dark shadows of stigma and into mainstream conversations.
Prior to Crave, Ti founded INCOQNITO, a line of intimate accessories that double as fashionable jewelry which was acquired by CRAVE in 2011. Since then, Crave has been innovating in this category starting with the world’s first crowdfunded vibrator Duet, crowdsourcing vibration patterns, and pioneered the category of sex jewelry. Ti is best known for the design of Vesper vibrator necklace, one of the most celebrated and innovative sex toys disrupting the adult toy industry and changing the conversation around sex.
Ti holds a MA in Design Products from Royal College of Art in London and a BS in Industrial Design from Georgia Institute of Technology. Ti grew up in Atlanta, GA and now enjoys life and work in San Francisco
