About the speaker
Stephanie Brown is a painter and tattooist who has been working in the tattooing industry since 2010. A graduate of School of the Art Institute of Chicago, her fine art background informs the way her tattoos are designed and conceptualized. She most enjoys exploring where the construction of painting, her own interest in scientific illustration, and the nuances of tattooing intersect. Stephanie tattoos at Butterfat Studios, a private, appointment-only studio in Logan Square.
