Sonali Kusum

Sonali Kusum, has completed BALLB, LLM with specialization in human rights law along with Post Graduate Diploma in Social work.
Presently, she is pursuing her Ph.D research on Surrogacy in India from National Law School of India University Bangalore. She also writes monthly column on contemporary legal political issue in the flair talk magazine.
Professionally, she had been an Assistant Professor at School of Law Rights & Constitutional Governance, Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai and formerly, she had been Research Associate (Legal) at Centre for Child and Law working as a part of UNICEF India – CCL Project “Access to Justice to children through Independent Human Right Institutions” at Centre for Child and the Law NLSIU Bangalore. While functioning in these capacities, she has contributed through her research into the “Manual for Commissions for Protection of Child Rights- How to implement the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005” published by CCL Centre for Child & Law, National Law school of India University Bangalore.
