Akiko Senda, renowned floral arranger, talks about her unexpected journey as an artist.
About the speaker
After years of working for large retail corporations in window/prop styling and online merchandising, owner Akiko opened her own retail boutique business in 2011. Through creating displays in her own store, she discovered a knack for styling weddings and fell in love with floral arrangement.
She opened Bloom Maven in 2015 to focus on the art of flowers and expand her own creative endeavors and in 2018 opened her first retail Bloom Maven shop in Tucson, Arizona. Bloom Maven is a boutique plant and flower shop located in the Mercado San Agustin in downtown Tucson.
Akiko currently resides in Tucson with her husband and two boys.
