Yara Al Adib

Yara Al Adib is een reiziger, een kameleon, een ontdekker. Oh, en ook een service & UX designer. Met haar eclectische achtergrond (Arabisch opgevoed en westers geschoold) maakte ze zich een mix aan disciplines eigen. Van communicatie design tot service en social design. Ontwerpen doet ze met empathie (human centered) én met oog voor zowel vorm als functie.

Yara verzoent Oost en West in haar persoon. Op vlak van tradities en design. Tijdens haar talk rond het thema Risk zal ze ons vertellen hoe ze naar België kwam en hier haar carrière als experience designer startte.

This month we invite Yara Al Adib. She describes herself as a hybrid, a traveller, a chameleon and an explorer. Not to mention, of course, a Service and UX Designer. Besides her eclectic cultural background (Arab raised and Westerly educated), she acquired a mix of disciplines: communication design with service & social design. These disciplines allow her to design with empathy (HCD) keeping in mind both form and function.

Yara is a mediator between the East & West both in terms of traditions and in design perspective. During her talk on the global CreativeMornings-theme Risk, she will tell us her story of coming to Belgium and starting to work as experience designer.
