Richard uses his own life as an example of developing habit patterns and how minimalism should be seen as a process, instead of a goal.

About the speaker

Richard Gartner left his day job and 2007 and has practiced and
studied yoga full-time ever since. His classes, workshops and private
instruction foster a non-dogmatic and compassionate attitude about
students' faculties and circumstances.

Richard has investigated and experimented with the challenges and
pitfalls of self-employment and self-governance. Of particular
interest is how to apply concepts in yoga and meditation literature to
day-to-day life and moment-to-moment decisions.

In addition to a full client roster and teaching roughly 70 students a
week, he organizes two regional workshop tours per year. His yoga app
is due out sometime in the Fall, if he could just stop fine-tuning his
sequences and settle on them.
