About the speaker

Our guest speaker for May is Sahar Saki, a multidisciplinary international artist who focuses on mural art and immersive installations. Their work blends poetry, Persian calligraphy, visual abstraction, and movement to transform spaces into emotional, cultural experiences that invite the audience to step inside and feel the work.

Sahar will present Persian Tour, a collaborative project developed with a group of Iranian and British artists, including three poets, two rappers, and several mentors in painting, literature, cultural studies, and movement. They have been exploring how spoken word, visual art, and performance can come together to build immersive, cultural spaces. She will be speaking about how the project was formed, what she has learned from the collaborative process, and how creative exchange can help us reflect on building cultural bridges.
