About the speaker

“When something is easy to use, it was hard to design.” Jens Mühlstedt is working as UX Innovator & Project Manager at designaffairs GmbH. Dealing with complex, multidisciplinary system architectures he creates human-centered, innovative solutions and experiences. After studying Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University Chemnitz he worked as research assistant and team lead at the Department of Human Factors and Innovation Management. During this time he created and finished his distinguished doctoral thesis about virtual ergonomics. In 2014 he joined designaffairs to support the team in the fields of human-machine interaction, testing, project management and more. Therefore, he contributes his expertise in Innovation and Usability Engineering, Work Environment, User Experience as well as Human Factors and Ergonomics.
