Washington is the author of 24 books, and chapbooks, and is the founder/director of Guide To Kulchur: Text, Art & News. Washington was awarded 2014 Creative Workforce Fellowship from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, and The Community Partnership for Arts and Culture.
