About the speaker
John Henley's love affair with photography began in a darkroom at the San Francisco Art Institute.
Now In the midst of a long and satisfying career as a photographer he finds himself as excited by the work as he was that first time he set foot in that darkroom.
His assignment work, his personal projects and his teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University equally excite him. He is fortunate to have the opportunity to teach, exhibit in galleries and work with wonderful clients on assignments. The pleasure, challenges and the constant learning are rewarding in every area of his work. You can find John in Richmond looking forward with gratitude to his next class, his next show and his next assignment.
