OH FUDGE: A Beginner’s Guide to Navigating Your Mental Health

part of a series on Procrastinate

Additional details

Health isn’t just what we eat but what we think, say and do. As we have all been pushed more into the digital space over the last year, it is incredibly important to be aware of how our headspace is impacted and how we can make more room for the good stuff!

As business owners, entrepreneurs, partners, parents (and more!) we face stressors on our health, and you may be missing some signs — be they physical, emotional, interpersonal, or professional. Cue the burnout! As we push through the whirlwind obligations of our busy lives, it can be hard to recognize the symptoms and signs of what we need before they reach a critical point and demand to be addressed.

Join Becky Mickletz, a Denver business owner (Remickz Marketing) as she provides tangible tips and tricks for navigating your mental health and wellness in a world that can have a lot of noise and how you can maintain a healthy headspace in the process.

MEET OUR PARTNER: BECKY MICKLETZ

Becky Mickletz, founder of Remickz Marketing, specializes in brand strategy and design. Originally from the exotic land of Pennsylvania, she spent six years in Los Angeles specializing in branding for music and events, and now resides in Denver, CO. With nearly a decade of experience with companies such as Fast Company, Denver Startup Week, and SXSW, Becky has developed a career to help companies find their unique voice, successfully define and tell their story, and implement it through their various marketing efforts.

As a business owner, she hit an ‘Oh FUDGE!’ moment where her mental health rapidly declined and knew she had to make a change for herself, her relationships, and her business. She later became certified in Mental Health First Aid and speaks to entrepreneurs and business owners on maintaining a healthy mental state in a busy working world. Her initiatives are aimed to create free and inclusive materials and help break the stigma around mental health. This has included a free positivity textline (The Hypeline) and a free beginner’s guide with worksheets to help nurture a better headspace on the daily.
