Nick shares his journey, the reasons why he is so passionate about sign painting, and the ins-and-outs of the art form.
Being trained as a graphic designer, after working in retail and design agencies, Nick found his passion in the daily growing art form of ‘sign painting’. In this talk Nick explains how much love and attention sign painting involves as well as sharing items from his beloved toolkits.
About the speaker
Nick is a local traditional Signpainter and lettering artist.
He is self taught and works from his garden studio in Bridgend. He travels throughout the UK bringing vibrant, hand crafted shop signs and commercial artwork to both city centres and quaint country villages.
His main inspirations come from traditional food packaging, Tattoo culture and vintage Americana.
Only 5 years into his trade, he strives to continue this forgotten craft.
