This month, our theme is Native and we are thrilled to welcome Evans Andrew as our esteemed speaker.

Evans Andrew's journey is nothing short of extraordinary, weaving from the vibrant heart of Homa Bay County in Kenya to the serene, snow-covered landscapes of Finland, where he has called home since 2006. His literary talents are showcased in works such as his poem featured in the Quicksilver Poetry Collection (USA).

Presently, Evans serves as a beacon of light and hope as the co-founder of Maisha Nordics, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing mental health among immigrants in Finland and beyond. Through the power of storytelling, racial wellness initiatives, and psychosocial support, he tirelessly advocates for healing and resilience.

Equipped with a profound understanding of global health and crisis management, including a Master's degree, and certification as a Critical Incident Stress Manager (CISM), Evans brings expertise and compassion to his endeavors. His charismatic presence shines not only as a celebrated events host but also as the Events Lead for Ambitious Africa, bridging the vitality of African and Nordic youth to foster transformative education and entrepreneurial societies.
