About the speaker
Mona is a certified geek with a long history of building products (like OneDrive) for real people at companies like Microsoft and Amazon. She's explored many aspects of product development in her professional journey (from being a developer to running a product team). Being a Pakistani woman in the high-tech industry in the US, the issue of diversity has great personal meaning for Mona. As director of product at Code.org, she is dedicated to bringing computer science education to all children and in doing so, helping eliminate the stereotypes that plague this sector. But since we're not just what we do, it's important to share that she's a lover of cats and dogs, writing, photography and conversation.
