Max Bent

Max Bent's circuitous route to his life as a teaching artist specializing in the art form of Human Beatboxing might actually make sense.

After seven years as a science teacher, Max made the jump into the world of arts integration in 2010, thanks to training and guidance provided by Young Audiences of MD. It was music that helped Max connect with students at DuVal high school, where he started a program called DuVal Beat Club in 2003.

With four years of experience in arts based education, Max has performed for and worked with students and teachers in all nooks and crannies of Maryland and across the country.
