About the speaker
Marika Contaldo Seguso’s passion for food and entertainment began in 1998 working in New York, where she co-founded the catering company Acquolina which soon became a reference for Italian Cuisine in the city.
After moving back to Venice with her family, the passion for food and entertainment moved her in 2004 to start a new project that is the Italian Corporation for Acquolina Catering based in her own Villa in Venice Lido, giving life to an Italian Hospitality Boutique Hotel where guests can experience her cooking classes.
She recently published her first monograph on Venetian recipes and flavours: "Savour the Revealed Venice" - a culinary travel around the lagoon.
