Lucie Pindat shares how you can create free space for yourself when working in the creative industry

About the speaker

Lucie Pindat is a designer. She studied graphic design in Paris and after graduating (seven years ago), moved to Amsterdam to work at Creative Agency Vandejong. She’s been working there since, first as a graphic designer and currently as an art director, using her designer skills to create and develop new formats.

She’s also one of the founders of ½ Collective, together with Laure Boer, Anne-Pauline Mabire and Chloé Thomas. In order to keep contact and exchange their work and design conceptions, the four girls created an online space in 2007 and in 2008 published the eponymous publication. ½ became a platform for ongoing experimentation apart from their professional designer activities. ½ is a kind of perpetual trip across cities and also minds. It tries to catch every day beauty, anywhere and anyway. ½ has been invited to occupy the &Foam Collaborate space at Felix &Foam on the Keizersgracht during the month of May. A video and music performance will complete the installation, ‘In the Meantime’ on May 23rd.
