About the speaker
Liz Flores is a Chicago based artist and muralist, painting the human form through shapes and colors. Four years ago she made the leap from corporate America into the art world. Her work explores the human condition, the female form, and how emotion can be represented through movement and shape.
In this time, she has shared her story on the TEDx stage, brought an interactive art installation titled ‘The World We Want’ to Michigan Avenue, and collaborated with major brands like Lululemon, Pepsi, and SugarHigh LoveStoned. Her work has been shown in international art competitions including ArtPrize Nine and group shows around Chicago. Currently, Liz is filling up her studio with new paintings, freelancing and scouting mural locations.

Open Water is bottled water with a green conscience. That’s right: 16 ounces of purified water in 100% recyclable aluminum bottles. Aluminum is recycled more than twice as often as plastic and is also infinitely recyclable. Reusable bottles are always the best, but when you’re away from the tap, think beyond plastic.
