Lisa Wrightsman, Founder and Director of Street Soccer USA Sacramento, lives and breathes this month's theme. For Lisa, soccer is more than just a game. It is a catalyst for change. When Lisa hit rock bottom and nearly died from addiction, she pulled herself up through the love of the game. And it’s how she’s now changing lives with Street Soccer USA, a nationwide non-profit that uses soccer to break the cycle of homelessness and domestic abuse. For Lisa, the soccer field is a canvas, a platform for ideas and creative problem-solving to be executed.
