About the speaker
When asked as a child what she wanted to be when she grew up, Linda’s reply would be ‘Maker’. ‘A Maker of what?’ they would ask. Just ‘A Maker’ she would say. And so she made. She tinkered with timber, meddled with music and even did a stint wedded to wadding. There was always something about ‘making’ that Linda loved, so it seemed ordinary to make a life in design.
