Your Host

Lucas O'Keefe

Content Creator at Understanding Social Media.

Toronto, ON, Canada

I am a content creator, elementary school teacher, and social media influencer from Toronto, Canada. Education is at the forefront of everything I do: whether it’s teaching my students in the classroom or helping business owners and entrepreneurs grow their social media presence through engaging content, I love to do it all!

About this FieldTrip

Creating content is easier when you aren’t doing it alone.

In this live accountability-style workshop, Lucas will help you create an entire week of social media content. You’ll build directly on content ideas you’ve already brainstormed, or you can start fresh using the free content planning calendar Lucas has shared here.

This session is designed to remove overwhelm and replace it with clarity, momentum, and real progress. Lucas will guide you through identifying the best content formats for your goals, share quick and practical content creation workflows, provide templates you can reuse, and most importantly give you dedicated time to actually create.

⭐️ This FieldTrip is part of our Level Up Series with Adobe!
This FieldTrip is a part of Level Up, a series of FieldTrips and resources designed to help you grow, gain confidence, and take meaningful next steps in your creative career. This series is made possible by CreativeMornings’ global partnership with Adobe . Learn more about the program and upcoming FieldTrips and check out more ways to Level Up

Agenda

  • Lucas will help you build on content you’ve already brainstormed, or guide you using his free content planning calendar if you’re starting fresh.

  • You’ll refine the best content formats for your specific goals and learn a few fast, practical creation workflows and reusable templates to simplify the process.

  • The session will then shift into focused creation time, where you’ll actively work on your content, whether that’s video scripts, designs, or outlines. Lucas will be there to guide, support, and keep you accountable.

  • You’ll leave with content created, not just planned, and the reassurance that you don’t have to do this alone.

What to know or bring

  • Bring whatever tools you normally use to create your content.

  • This might include a notebook or planner, a laptop or tablet, and any apps or software you use for writing video scripts, designing posts, or planning content.

  • Come ready to work in the way that feels most natural to you.

What to expect

Workshop format!

A hands-on session where participants get to build, craft, or create something tangible.

It will be recorded!

The recording will be shared within 24 hours in the follow up email for a 263-day window, and available at the top of this page. Make sure to register for access!

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
