How do your friends and community shape who you are?
Kick Lee, founder of Cincinnati Music Accelerator, wasn’t always as connected as he is now. He went through the foster care system as a child, and felt alienated from his family, other kids and his culture. He used his musical talent to draw in friends and ultimately created a community around his art.
About the speaker
Kick Lee is a music producer, motivational speaker, Cincinnati native and advocate of the arts. A graduate of Full Sail University and of Elementz Hip Hop Youth Arts center, he has a background in music production. Working in the music industry for over 13 years, Kick has licensed musical content with mainstream networks such as MTV, VH1, Fox, BET and many more. He is also a grantee of People’s Liberty and the founder of the Cincinnati Music Accelerator, who’s mission is to create entrepreneurs through the art of music, teaching the business, thus putting an end to starving artist.
