Artpace

part of a series on Perspective

About the speaker

Katie is a librarian by training whose life journey has led her to front-line humanitarian work with asylum seekers through the Interfaith Welcome Coalition. She is the Bus Station Program Coordinator and the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Interfaith Welcome Coalition. She's married to Webb and has two children – Molly (college freshman) and Allen (11th grader) – and two incredible cats. In her spare time, she's been known to enjoy gardening native Texas plants, reading frivolous novels, working on her Spanish language skills, solving logic puzzles, taking long walks in the park, dabbling at bird watching, and relaxing in hammocks.
